Founded in 1995 by themed entertainment veteran Hugh Darley, IDEA is well known as an international design and planning firm that conceives conceptual designs and then facilitates production of branded destinations for the cruise, hospitality, entertainment, and tourism industries.  

IDEA's design and thematic concepts incorporate comprehensive programming with included insight in operations, guest experience, site management and revenue generation opportunities.  Developing vision plans integrated with strong, branded story lines for destinations worldwide, the IDEA team continually and consistently creates the most exclusive, dynamic, and relevant concepts for our clients around the world.

IDEA is currently an industry leading designer of branded port of call destinations, specializing in marine and waterfront development for signature ports.  IDEA has worked with private developers, governments, ministries, and independent agencies in Alaska, Florida, Saint Lucia, Sint Maarten and St. Martin, Mexico, Saint Kitts, Jamaica, British and US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Belize and St. Vincent.  

Additionally, IDEA provides consultation and owners representation services to ensure that each IDEA project maintains its distinctive vision and design integrity from conception all the way to construction.
